Learning Objectives

The aim of this study programme is to equip the learner with:

  • comprehensive knowledge of the core principles of economics,
  • acquisition of knowledge in business organisation, decision making and marketing organisation and management
  • Systematic understanding of market research models and market segmentation,
  • Appreciation of specific market and marketing strategies and systematic understanding of marketing mix components and market positioning,
  • Systematic understanding of communication with consumers and the general public.
  • Comprehensive understanding the core components of B2C and B2B including all the models pertinent to the topic.

The key competencies that the student will gain following succesful compleation of the study programme includes but is not limited to:

  • Autonomously contribute towards the management of marketing and sales services,
  • Systematically research, analyse, process and present market and consumer data.
  • Succesfully employ pricing policies
  • Deploy originality when developing and implementing promotional campaings through traditional or digital media.
  • Foster innovation and creativity when strengtheining existing brands of companies or institutions.
